| Rod L. Castan
has over twenty years experience in commercial
property sales, leasing, and management. He
has
been a Director of Leasing with the Courtelis
Company
since 1995 and is currently responsible for the
leasing of 17 existing properties and multiple
new
development projects, totaling almost 2.5 million
square feet in Florida. Mr. Castan's responsibilities
include new tenant marketing and leasing, renewals
and expansions, planning and budgeting, site
selection
and market analysis. He is also actively involved
in all phases of property management and development
for the shopping centers. He has negotiated leases
with major retailers such as Publix, Home Depot,
Bed Bath & Beyond, Borders, Best Buy, Bames
& Noble, Winn Dixie, Regal Cinemas, Marmaxx,
Sears and Toys R' Us. Prior to joining Courtelis,
Rod Castan was District Leasing Manager with Balcor
Property Management where he was responsible for
the leasing of 1.7 million square feet of shopping
centers in the Southeast United States including
the Mall of the Americas in Miami. Mr. Castan has
also been a real estate broker with such firms
as
CB Commercial and Summa Properties where he handled
over 500,000 square feet of real estate transactions
valued over $60 million.
